Strong start for lady golfers

The Elephant Rocks lady golfers opened the NAWGA Team Play season at Verde Santa Fe April 27 against Prescott Golf & Country Club. After round one, our local team is tied for second place gross with Prescott Lakes, just one-half point behind Oakcreek. The Elephant Rocks team is also tied for first place net with Oakcreek and Quailwood Greens, just one-half point ahead of Talking Rock Ranch. There are nine teams participating in this northern Arizona Women's Golf competition, and the matches will conclude in August.
