First Baptist Church

Our Church praises the Lord with an exciting mix of music and preaching. Our prayer is that no one would leave without being changed by Jesus. We are a Christ-centered church that loves the Lord and His people.

The Word of God is preached with compassion, encouragement and joy. Come and be a part of this dynamic ministry.

• Saturday - Christmas Eve Service, 6 p.m.

• Tuesday - No Mid-Week Service.

St. John's Episcopal-Lutheran Church

Thank you, God, for your son Jesus Christ; may we celebrate his birth with songs, prayers and praise.

Join us Christmas Eve at 6 p.m. for a candlelight service.

There will be no Sunday morning worship service on Christmas day.

St. John's would like to thank everyone who attended our Advent concerts. Sorry we had to cancel the last concert due to weather conditions.

Family Harvest Church

Pastor Tim Milner and David Gutshall invite you and your family to be our guest every week. We have something for the whole family. We are a Christ centered church. Community United Methodist Church

Sunday was the fourth Sunday of Advent. Worship service was filled with wonderful things. There was a baptism of one of our found disciples, Orion. The reception of four new members into our congregation, the Hand Bell Choir rang during the offertory, and Pastor Billy gave part four of his sermons on "Spiritual Nuggets for Christmas." The young disciples also acted out the Christmas story. Thanks to the young disciples.

More wonderful things are happening this Christmas season. Today at 11:30 a.m. the Sisters-in-Spirit will host their annual Women's Luncheon in honor of all women of our community, and surrounding area. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. until the pots are empty. Come and bring a friend and enjoy homemade soups, homemade rolls and many Christmas desserts. Tickets will be sold for the cedar chest filled with linens. The winner will be drawn right after the luncheon. You don't have to be present to win.

We will be having our Christmas Eve Candlelight service at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24.

Weekly fellowship opportunities include -

• Wednesday - 11:30 a.m. Women's Christmas Luncheon; 6 p.m. soup/salad dinner; and 7 p.m. Recharge Christmas Study.

• Saturday - 6 p.m. Christmas Eve Candlelight Services.

• Sunday - 8:45 a.m. adult Sunday school; 9:50 a.m. prayer time before worship; 10 a.m. Christmas Worship/Young Disciples Church; and 11:30 a.m. fellowship.

St. Joseph Catholic Church

Weekly events include -

• Friday - 8 a.m., Benediction and Holy Hour Morning Prayer; 9 a.m., Holy Mass.

• Saturday - 4 p.m., Confessions; 5 p.m., Holy Rosary; 5:30 p.m., English Mass; 6:45 p.m., Santo Rosario; 7 p.m., Spanish Mass.

• Sunday - 7:30 a.m., Holy Rosary; 8 a.m., Holy Mass. Join us at 3 p.m. in the Church Hall for prayer, fellowship and coffee.

• Tuesday - 8:40 a.m., Liturgy of the Hour Morning Prayer; 9 a.m., Holy Mass.

Canyon Chapel Foursquare

Regular weekly services include -

• Sunday, Jan. 1, 11 a.m. New Year's Day celebration service.

Spanish classes start Jan. 11. A beginners' class begins at 6 p.m. An intermediate class begins at 7:15 p.m. Classes will be held at the church. Fifteen classes will be offered on a donation basis. The classes are led by Dr. Art Cole.

Calvary Chapel Williams

This week's regularly scheduled church events include -

• Wednesday - Midweek Study begins at 7 p.m. We are currently studying in 2nd Samuel.

• Thursday - Junior and Senior High School Youth Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the church.

• Friday - College and Young Adult Study will meet at 5 p.m. at the church.

• Sunday - An Hour of Prayer begins at 9 a.m. Please join us to pray for the needs of our community, state, nation and world. Sunday worship service begins at 10 a.m. Pastor Mike is currently teaching through the Book of Corinthians.

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

We welcome you to our church. Our activities include:

• Wednesday, 7 p.m., Cub Scout Pack No. 138 (8-11 years), Boy Scout Troop No. 138 (12-17 years), Young Men/Young Women (12-17 years), and Achievement Day Girls (8-11 years).

Jehovah's Witnesses

The Jehovah's Witnesses warmly welcome you to their weekly Bible meetings:

• Sunday - Bible discourse, 10 a.m.; Watchtower study, Matthew 6:10.

• Thursday - Theocratic Ministry School, Congregation Bible Study, service meeting, 7:30 p.m., John 6:45.

All meetings are held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5495 N. Sunset Strip, and are open to the public.

Northwoods Assembly of God

Northwoods Assembly of God is also partnering with Williams Middle School for the second year, as we gather pajama's for disadvantaged children. All of the warm p.j.'s collected will be distributed to the children in our community. If you would like to help meet a need, bring new, unwrapped pajamas in children sizes to the Celebration Service.

Northwoods AG Invites you to Weekly Fellowship -

• SOUPER Wednesdays is an informal Bible Study that explores the foundations of the Christian faith through open and frank discussions as we discover "What the Bible Says About..." Bring the whole family for ministry and a hot bowl of SOUP, warm bread, and friendship.

• Pastor's Coffee - Sunday's at 10 a.m. - Join the Pastor and the leadership team of Northwoods for coffee and pastry. Pastor's Coffee is an informal get together for fellowship and questions about the Assembly of God fellowship and our local church.

• Celebration Service - Sunday at 10:30 a.m. - Passionate worship and relevant, Biblical messages.

• Adult Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. with in-depth Bible studies for those that are mature/maturing in the faith.
