The annual Christmas party for the children of the Masons and Eastern Stars is to be this Sunday evening at Ashlar Hall. There will be the usual Christmas tree with Old Santa around to see that every child present receives a gift.

Residents of Williams are asked to refrain from putting hot ashes in their garbage cans. If they do use garbage cans to dispose of ashes, the ashes must be dead out. This past month there have been two occasions when hot ashes caused fire in the back of city garbage trucks. This practice is not only dangerous, but could prove to be very expensive to taxpayers.
