The streets and sidewalks are sprouting little ones, big ones, quiet ones, boisterous ones - all kinds of school children. And one first grader innocently enough referred to the head man at the grade school as "The Cureton" instead of the principal.
35 years ago Sept. 2, 1976
Charles Brookbank Jr. put on a Muscular Dystrophy Carnival last week at his home. He and his friends raised $27. Friends helping include Krista McKnight, Terry Hoffman and Rene Brookbank.
