Letter: Volunteers made Valle event happen
To the editor:
This is a thank you to the community of Valle, surrounding areas and contributing businesses for support shown at the recent pancake breakfast, silent auction, raffles, barbecue and, of course, fireworks fundraiser day on Aug. 28. Thank you to Chief Willy Collins Jr. and the Valle-Wood firefighters for another excellent fireworks display.
A special thank you to all the volunteers that helped make the day a success.
The $1 raffle (red tickets) were drawn the day of the event. The $10 raffles (yellow/beige tickets) for a quad, P-51 airplane ride, pickup and horses will be drawn after 1,000 tickets are sold. So keep your $10 raffle tickets. Again, thank you all.
