The Red Cross production department recently made a large shipment of garments and comfort articles for hospital use. The shipment included five flannel bed jackets, 10 pairs outing flannel pajamas, 93 bedside bags, 34 unfilled kit bags and 105 pairs of men's slippers. Also shipped recently were 40 navy sweaters and one pair of navy gloves, five children's sweaters and six mufflers for refugee relief.

The square dancers will meet this Saturday at the El Paso Natural Gas compressor station. Ladies are asked to bring cookies. The group meets each Saturday alternating between the compressor station and Legion Hut.

The Williams Country Club will hold a meeting at 7:30 p.m. March 19 at the City-County building. Plans for the coming golf season will be made. All members, guests, lady golfers and prospective golfers are invited to attend.
