Bake sale Saturday, Sunday
A bake sale will be held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the American Legion, 425 W. Grant Ave.
Proceeds from the sale will be used to raise money to pay funeral expenses for the family of Sebastian Morris. Any and all donations are appreciated. Baked goods can be left at the legion.
Donate blood tomorrow
Save a life by donating blood 9 a.m.-6 p.m. tomorrow at the Williams High School (WHS), 440 S. Seventh St.
Help the WHS Student Council make their blood drive goal with your gift. Blood for hospital patients can only come from volunteer donors and 700 donations are needed daily to supply Arizona hospitals. Your donation can help save up to three lives. All donors will receive a ticket to the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

Warm items needed
Cossette Riggs of Camp Civitan is seeking warm items for the homeless. Items needed for care packages include fleece blankets, hats, gloves and socks. Items can be left at the Camp Civitan Thrift Store, 221 W. Railroad Ave.To find out how you can help, contact Riggs at 853-0395.
Girl Scout cookies on sale
Did you know that its Girl Scout Cookie time? Williams Girl Scout Troop 2616 is currently taking cookie orders. Cookies are $4 a box. They will be available for pick up or delivery the week of Feb. 15. Check out all the cookie flavors available at http://www.girlscoutcookies.org and e-mail your order to phelgeson@wusd2.org.
