Grant applications due Monday

WILLIAMS - Grant applications for the Greater Williams Community Fund 2010 awards are due Monday. Grants are made possible through earnings from the fund, a permanent endowment created to benefit a variety of nonprofit organizations that traditionally support youth, education, social services, healthcare, senior services, the arts, and other community needs. A total of $7,100 is available to the community this year.

"The application process is not complicated," said Jean-Ellen Kegler, GWCF steering committee chair, "and we are happy to help interested organizations. If anyone is still thinking about applying, it's time to get it done."

The application is available from Kegler (773-1709, jekegler@aol.com) and Kris Vasquez (635-2042, rehabts@aol.com). Five copies of the application must be submitted no later than Monday. For the convenience of applicants, a drop-off has been set up at the Williams-Grand Canyon News, 118 S. Third St., Attention: Connie Hiemenz. Applications can also be delivered to Kegler or Vasquez.
