The Williams Police Department answered the following calls for service -

• Officers dealt with a civil matter at a hotel.

• Officers conducted a civil standby on Newton.

• Officers arrested a female for theft.

• Officers took in a found wallet.

• Officers responded to Pine Meadows in reference to trespassing. The case was forwarded to the city attorney.

• Officers arrested a male for driving with a suspended driver's license.

• Officers responded to suspicious activity on Second Street.

• Officers responded to a noise complaint on Rodeo Road.

• Officers took a report of a theft of hubcaps from a vehicle.

• Officers stopped a vehicle for speeding in a school zone and found the vehicle had no current registration and no insurance. The vehicle was impounded for a mandatory 30 days.

• Officers took in found hunting equipment.

• Officers responded to a transient causing problems on Grand Canyon Boulevard. The subject was removed from the area.

• Officers responded to a convenience store in reference to an intoxicated subject causing problems. Officers arrested a male for disorderly conduct.

• Officers took in a found ring from the senior center.

• Officers cited two individuals for trespassing in reference to an incident that occurred the day prior at Pine Meadows.

• Officers responded to two loose dogs on Fifth Street, which were gone when officers arrived.

• Officers assisted LifeLine with a 10-month-old not breathing on Rodeo. The child was transported to Flagstaff Medical Center.

• Officers investigated three hit and run accidents involving stop signs.

• Officers responded to suspicious activity on Fulton.

• Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle on Fourth Street.

• Officers responded to a possible burglary in progress on Second Street. Officers checked the residence and found everything to be secure.

• Officers dealt with a dog issue on Franklin.

• Officers responded to a smoke alarm on Sixth Street.

• Officers conducted checks during a basketball tournament at the high school.

• Officers responded to a domestic on Grant Avenue and arrested a male for assault.

• Officers responded to a fight at the middle school. Officers took a report of mutual combat.

• Officers towed an abandoned vehicle on Pine and Railroad.

• Officers responded to suspicious activity in a drainage ditch on Sherman. Two juveniles were removed.

• Officers responded to Edison in reference to suspicious activity.

• Officers investigated a non-injury accident on Perkinsville Road.

• Officers took a harassment report on Route 66.

• Officers responded to a domestic on Third and arrested a male for assault and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Officers assisted with an intoxicated female juvenile who was transported to Flagstaff Medical Center. Officers are still investigating the incident.

• Officers assisted with an accident involving a death on Interstate 40 at exit 165.

• Officers took a report of the theft of a laptop on Fulton.

• Offices responded to a fight on Fulton. The suspect was gone upon officer arrival.

• Officers assisted LifeLine at a hotel.

• Officers responded to a loose dog call on Fulton.

• Officers investigated a non-injury hit and run accident on Mountain Man Trail.

• Officers assisted with a funeral escort.

• Officers conducted welfare checks at the basketball tournament.

• Officers responded to an unattended child in a vehicle in front of the post office. Officers warned a parent of possible consequences.

• Officers dealt with numerous snow issues and pulled several citizens out of snow banks while assisting with slide offs.

• Officers investigated a non-injury accident on Fifth and Grant.

• Officers investigated a non-injury accident on Third and Railroad.

• Officers investigated a non-injury accident on West Route 66.

• Officers investigated an injury accident on the off ramp at I-40 exit 161.

• Officers assisted with an injury rollover on Highway 64 at Kaibab Lake.

• Officers investigated a non-injury accident on First Street.

• Officers assisted, along with city crews, in getting a stuck school bus moving at First and Hancock.

• Officers dealt with many issues once I-40, I-17 and Highway 64 were closed.

• Officers responded to a suicidal female on Rodeo Road.

• Officers responded to a disturbance on Tabor.

• Officers issued seven citations and gave out 22 warnings.
