Maria A. Rico
Maria A. Rico, 79, passed away Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, at Flagstaff Medical Center, while surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born Aug. 9, 1929, in Mexico. She moved to Williams in 1981 where she helped care for her grandchildren. She loved to cook, garden, crochet and have family gatherings to spend time with her family.
She is survived by seven children, sons Antonio Rico, Aristeo "Junior" Rico and Angel Rico; daughters Imelda Hernandez, Josefina Killinsworth, Lourdes Esparza and Alicia Rico. She also leaves behind 26 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Rico, and son, Martin Rico.
Services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Williams. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Rosary at 11 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:30 a.m. Burial will conclude with services at the Williams Cemetery following Mass.
