Studio 9 Salon opens in Williams

Owners Kristina Henson and Jamie Worden of Studio 9 Salon invite the public to check out their beauty salon, located at 517 East Route 66. Henson and Worden are also joined by Kim Serafin. Studio 9 Salon offers all hair services, including perms, cuts for men, women and children, color, hair loc system hair extensions and updos. The salon also offers gel nail enhancements, manicures and pedicures and features the only throne pedicure chair in Williams with full back and neck Shiatzu massage, according to salon owners, who added that they also offer facial, body, bikini and Brazilian waxing with the new soy-based "Nu Free" waxing system.

Both Worden and Henson, as well as Serafin, have all worked in Williams in the past. While the three went on to offer their services in Flagstaff, the three have now returned to bring their knowledge and experience back to the Williams community. Worden and Henson, as new members of the Williams-Grand Canyon Chamber of Commerce, said they plan to hold a mixer to celebrate the opening of their new salon in the coming weeks. Worden said the salon will offer an array of services, including offerings for those who want longer hair, a variety of colors, a relaxing pedicure, or just a cut. She said the opening of the new salon was a "labor of love" for her and added that she is proud to offer great parking, new furniture, sunlight and plenty of laughter at Williams newest salon.

Co-owner Kristina Henson said the Studio 9 Salon team brings a wealth of education and experience with them into the new salon.

"The Studio 9 creative team is proud that they constantly continue their education, so they are current on styles and techniques," she said.

Studio 9 Salon offers a number of flexible hours for their patrons. The salon is closed Sundays. For more information call (928) 635-2218.
