Talent shines
A number of talented youngsters took the stage Jan. 14 at Williams Elementary-Middle School during a school talent show. A number of great skits, comedy acts, acrobatics and music were offered to those in attendance, including a hilarious undersea diorama set to the music of the Beatles' "Yellow Submarine." Stand up comic Adam Young took home the first place prize, a $50 Target gift certificate, while April Zicopulos, Racquel Pearson and Crystal Ruiz took home the second place prize for their Shakespearian-styled comedy skit. The Polka-dot girls, Shannah Jensen, Rebekah Adams and Autumn Lann took home third place honors.
