Open gym offered in Parks

An open gym featuring volleyball and a movie is offered to all kids grades 7-12 every Sunday. The free event will be held 6-8 p.m. at the Maine School gym in Parks. The activity is free.

Open gym offered Friday

Open gym continues from 6-9 p.m. every Friday that school is in session at the Williams Elementary-Middle School.

Open gym activities offered are available to all youth in the community who are of age to attend the WEMS. Family members are encouraged to enjoy the evening as well.

Aerobics offered

Instructor Georgeanna Koenig offers aerobics at the Holiday Inn in Williams. She teaches light challenge classes each week from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and energizer classes from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of each week as well. There is no charge for the classes, which are sponsored by the Williams Recreation Department.

Tai Chi offered Thursday

The Williams Tai Chi Club meets from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Coconino Community College. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Hours change at aquatic center

Hours have changed at the Williams Aquatic Center. The aquatic center is now closed on Sundays and closed at 5 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All other programs and hours will remain the same.
