Season ends for Lady Vikes
The Lady Vikings Basketball team took on the Cowboys Feb. 7. Williams traveled to Camp Verde as part of the regional playoffs for 2A North.
The Camp Verde Cowboys used home court advantage as they rode to a 13-8 lead. Williams made a push behind Breanne Schulte's team high of 9 points. Ashley Bean and Jenise Pettit added 8 points as the Vikings went into halftime down 22-26.
Williams High School was only able to muster 17 second-half points as the Cowboys shot their way to a 52-39 victory.
This was the Lady Vikings last game of the season. However, with no seniors on the team this year, Williams will return all their players next season.
