Road Riders gas it up in Williams
Great Escape brings back bikes
Chrome and leather fills our locals streets once again as the Bullhead City-based motorcycle group, Desert Road Riders, will be coming back to Williams for their 13th Annual Great Escape Rally this week.
The fun ‹ all held at the Bob Dean Rodeo Grounds and barn ‹ begins Friday with 7 p.m. bar stool races and live music following.
Saturday's events kick off at 10 a.m. with a poker walk, whose stops include the World Famous Sultana, Cruiser's Café 66, the Canyon Club, and Pancho McGillicuddy's.
Then it's the gleaming and beautiful bike show from 1-2 p.m., the ever-wild bike games at the arena from 2-4 p.m., and a group supper at 6 p.m.
That night, it's bar stool races from 7-8 p.m. with more live music until 1 or 2 a.m.
Participants will receive trophies for the bike show and other events, one lucky winner will get the split for a 50/50 draw and numerous raffle items will be available to win.
