Help needed in solving burro slayings<br>

A small herd of free roaming wild horses and burros inhabit a designated territory of about 30,000 acres in the northwest corner of the Williams Ranger District. The Free Roaming Horse and Burro Act, which was passed in 1971, provides for the management and protection of these animals. According to the act it is a felony to harass, capture, or remove wild horses or burros from public lands.
