Flag football team<br>to play Saturday
GC VILLAGE — The Grand Canyon Middle School flag football team will try to open its abbreviated season Saturday with home games against Ash Fork and Seligman.
The flag football team, a sport approved last month by the school board, was supposed to play March 16 at Seligman, but the area received snowfall and the games were called off.
It's possible that the games at Seligman were going to be rescheduled, but news of that occurred after presstime.
The middle-school Phantoms are scheduled to play again on April 13 at Ash Fork.
