DetailsHospitals statewide are urging blood donors to roll up their sleeves in support of patients during the summer. While donor vacations typically reduce the number of people giving blood this time of year, heavy traffic on the highways increases the potential for accidents and the need for blood. In fact, Northern Arizona has seen a 40% decrease in blood donations. Drawings and giveaways.
