Williams Women Networking group coming soon

A new networking group is starting and every lady in Williams is invited. The group that will meet once a month to share what they are doing and to uplift and support each other.

There will not be an agenda, just an informal meeting to get to know each other.

Women are invited to come and see what happens. Let's get to know each other outside of organizations and inside the city.

Ducky Egg race to benefit Williams Aquatic Center

The Friends of the Williams Aquatic Center is putting on its annual "Ducky Egg Race" on April 12. The proud owners of the winning "eggs" will receive one of three monetary prizes: first prize, $100; second prize, $50; third prize, $25. The money raised will be used to sponsor special events at the Williams Aquatic Center, like free swim days during the summer.

Egg numbers are available from any member of the Friends of the Williams Aquatic Center until the event. Egg numbers are one for $5 or five for $20.

Spaghetti dinner fundraiser April 11

The Williams Kiwanis Club will put on a spaghetti dinner April 11 to raise money for scholarships. The dinner is from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Williams Rodeo Barn at the corner of Airport and Rodeo roads. The cost is $5 for adults and $2 for kids ages 12 and younger.

Conflict resolution workshop April 14

The Williams Chamber of Commerce and the Williams Justice and City courts are putting on a free conflict resolution training for local businesses.

The workshop will address how to understand and neutralize toxic people and impossible situations. The workshop is April 14 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Williams Justice Center, 700 W. Railroad Ave.

Ham shoot April 12

The Williams Sportsman's Club is putting on a fundraising Ham Shoot April 12. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Williams Shooting Range on Highway 64 just north of the I-40 overpass. The people who shoot closest to the bulls eye will win frozen hams.
