FooteWork collecting non-perishable food items

FooteWork Auto License and Title Service, 820 W. Route 66, is offering a 10 percent discount on basic service fees when customers donate three non-perishable food items for the Williams food bank. More information is available at (928) 635-2006.

Book club forming

Anyone who wants to form a book-review club may call Chris at (510) 865-9137.

The meet could take place at Cafe 326 at 326 Route 66.

Save-Meant to Rescue yard sale donations needed

The Save-Meant to Rescue (MTR) group is having a yard sale at the Rodeo Barn on May 18 and needs your "gently used" spring cleaning items. Those wishing to donate can drop off items at 326 Fourth St. but should call (928) 635-1571 before delivery. Those with questions can call Lupe at (928) 635-1905.

City to flush hydrants April 15-30

The city of Williams Water Department will flush fire hydrants April 15-30 from 9 p.m.-2 p.m. Brown water may temporarily run out of faucets. City officials suggest running faucets until water runs clear. Anyone with questions or concerns can contact the city office at (928) 635-4451.

Diabetes support group information

The Williams Diabetes Support Group meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Williams Healthcare Center. The meetings are free. More information is available from Kate Cornell at (928) 221-0624.

TOPS Chapter 0541 meeting on Thursday starting tomorrow

TOPS Chapter 0541 will move its meetings to Thursdays starting April 4.

Meetings take place at the First Baptist Church, 629 W. Grant Ave. at 9:30 a.m.
