Communion was celebrated Sunday by a full Sanctuary. Pastor Billy's message was "Calling All Witnesses". We need to take what we have learned from our study and witness to our Community and World. The Music was very inspiring.
Patty Williams was Worship leader. Becky, James, and Billy lead the praise music. The young disciples studied Elijah and the Raven. They learned that only God can create miracles. Thanks to all that made the Trunk or Treat such a great success.
Cubs Scouts will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, and on Tuesday from 1-3 p.m.
The Not Sew Perfect Quilters will meet. Wednesday Recharge will meet at 6 p.m. for a meal and fellowship with study following at 7 p.m.
On Thursday the Women's Bible study will start at 9:30 a.m. and the Youth group will meet at 6 p.m.
Saturday at 7 a.m. the Men's Ministry meets at the Church and Sister's in Spirit will meet at 8 a.m. at the home of Barb Parenteau. Women are asked to bring items that would be used for Thanksgiving to give to the Food Bank. Sunday at 8:45 a.m.
The Adult Sunday School class meets followed by Prayer before Worship at 9:50 a.m. with Worship starting at 10am.

The Sunday morning book study continues at 9 a.m. The book being studied is "Where God was Born: A Daring Adventure Through the Bibles Greatest Stories" by Bruce Feiler.
If you can't come on Sundays for the book study come each Thursday for the study on "The Gospel of Thomas". The group meets each Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in Walker Hall.
St. Johns' is preparing for its first Heritage and Craft Celebration to be held on Saturday, Nov. 9 in Walker Hall. There will be Mexican food, music, Folklorico dancing, and holiday crafts. There will also be a piñata for the young people. The event will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the afternoon.

Choir practices each Tuesday at 5:15 p.m. until about 6:45 p.m. Anyone interested in being in the choir, please contact George Sunday morning. The choir is now beginning to prepare for the presentation of "Lessons and Carols" which will be presented at our first Advent concert. These concerts are open to the public.
Advent is the season of preparation four weeks prior to Christmas. Our Advent Christmas concerts are a wonderful way to prepare for the coming of the Christ Child.
Next Sunday is the Community Thanksgiving dinner at Young Life. Those of the congregation that are planning to come, please join us Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. prior to the dinner to prepare the dish that St. Johns needs to bring to the dinner.
