Summer brings many visitors to our Churches. A group of thirty young adults riding bicycles camped overnight at our church on their way to Prescott to work on a Habitat for Humanity project. The group started in North Carolina and will end their journey in San Diego. Hospitality is one way of showing God's Love.
Pastor Billy's message "Living to Glorify God" is a way to show your love for God, by opening our doors and hearts to visitors and friends, exemplifies God's unconditional Love.
Sunday at 8:45 a.m. is Adult Bible Study, 9:50 a.m. is Prayer Before Worship, 10 a.m. is the Worship/Young Disciples Church and at 11:30 a.m. is Fellowship.
Sisters in Spirit meet on the second Saturday each month at 8 a.m. for Bible study, a business meeting and sharing what has been happening throughout the month. The ladies welcome you to come and be a part of the Sisters in Spirit. The men meet on the second and fourth Saturday of each month at 7 a.m. for Bible study.

Last Thursday of the month is Ladies Mission to Hope Cottage in Flagstaff. Third Wednesday and last Thursday of the month is Sunshine Rescue Mission to feed and teach about the love of Christ.

The Sunday morning book study has resumed at 9 a.m. each Sunday in Walker Hall. The book being studied will be "Where God was Born: A Daring Adventure Through the Bibles Greatest Stories" by Bruce Feiler.
The search committee has completed all of the necessary paperwork for calling a new priest/minister. This information has been sent to both the Episcopal and Lutheran bishops.
Our new choir is now practicing each Tuesday at 5:15 p.m. until about 6:45 p.m. Anyone interested in being in the choir, please contact George Sunday morning. The choir has been singing each Sunday at the offeratory.

Special events: The Auxillary Bishop of Phoenix, the Most Reverend Eduardo Nevares will be in Williams on Aug. 2-3. On Aug. 3 he will be at St. Joseph Parish at 11 a.m.
Bishop Nevares will celebrate the First Friday Mass at 5 p.m. Aug. 2 followed by the community dinner at 5:30 p.m., and will also celebrate a healing mass at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 3. All in Williams are most welcome at all of these events.
