Letter: Tampering with U.S. mail is a federal offense

To the editor:

I am not sure if people are aware of it or not, but some of your little angels (hooligans) were out Tuesday night (June 10) in the neighborhood of Quarter Horse Road and went through several mailboxes throughout the neighborhood-tampering with everyone's mail.

Some they just switched from box to box and some they tore open, looking for gift cards or money, no doubt.

You need to educate your children - young and old - that it is a federal offense punishable by law to tamper with the U.S. mail.

I would like to thank the person who found my Father's Day cards, whether they were on the ground or stuffed into your box, for putting them under my windshield wiper, so I knew what happened.

From listening to some teachers and seeing some damage done. I wonder if parents talk to their little angels about behaving themselves and not damaging peoples property and other children's things.
Bullying seems to be another problem ive noticed
in Williams.
