Letter: Work at cemetery continues

To the editor:

The Williams Cemetery Committee hosted a Rotary Cleanup Day at the cemetery on April 28. About 35 people showed up to start raking the cemetery. A lot of raking was done but we still have a long way to go.

Our future plans include: finishing raking the cemetery, order 144 flags for our veterans for the Memorial Day Service, clean up the site of the unknown soldier, install kiosk and map and install road and section sign posts. We also plan on doing some roadwork at the cemetery to smooth out the roads. If you are interested in helping with this project, please contact me at (928) 635-4503.

If you would like to donate to the cemetery fund, you can send a check or money order to Williams Needs an Angel, P.O. Box 484, Williams, AZ 86046. Any funds collected will go to the cleanup of the cemetery.
