Letter: Hydock resigns from Friends of Williams Aquatic Center board

To the editor:

To all the friends of the Friends of the Williams Aquatic Center, thank you for all your support and help over these last three years.

I resigned as treasurer because I've taken a job out of state. I'll do my best to keep in touch and to offer my support for the Friends' efforts to raise funds and to work with the city to reopen the pool on a year-round basis.

Keep up the good work, everyone! It's been a wonderful experience serving on the board and getting to know so many wonderful people from the area. Thanks for the opportunity to serve such a noble cause!

To all of my friends, neighbors, coworkers, and permittees, thank you for seven years full of wonderful experiences and memories! While I'm looking forward to my new adventure, it's tough to think about the people and adventures I'm leaving behind. It's been a pleasure getting to know everyone, exploring the area, and learning new things. I will miss it!
