Letter: Renaissance Experience still looking for a permanent home in Williams

To the Editor:

Thank you to the Williams News for your excellent coverage of our fundraiser 'A Knight to Remember' at the Sultana Theater Dec 1.

I have received many comments and compliments from the public about the event. Our fundraiser, public presentation, dinner and show was organized for several reasons.

One, to show the people of Williams an example of the quality of the entertainment we want to bring to Williams.

Two, to get the town behind us to support bringing Renaissance events back to Williams.

Three, to introduce the project and renderings of the interactive Renaissance park (complete with a five-acre castle and castle yard) that we would ultimately like to build and bring to northern Arizona.

And finally, to help recoupe some of our expenses from the Faire and more importantly help us move forward toward bringing more events to the Williams area.

Thank you again for helping us get the word out about us bringing Renaissance events to Williams.

If you are willing to help, sponsor, act, play music, volunteer, host or give lodging to some of our entertainers we want to hear from you.

Please check out our Website at www.gcrenfaire.com.

As our community welcomes and supports us, we have great things coming your way.

Thank you for having us. Peace and Huzzah!

Mark Worden,

Managing Director,

Grand Canyon Renaissance Experience!
