Letter: Visitor enjoys Save's goals and home tour

To the editor:

I was in Williams Saturday and was waiting for my friend to meet me there for a trip to California. I saw the home tour flyer and decided to pass the time and went.

I was so glad I did. I couldn't believe in such a small town that there was the caliber of houses. They were astounding. Every homeowner had such pride in their home, but also what they were trying to accomplish as a group. Whatever home you were in, mention dog and you got an earful how committed this group was to get their facility.

What a fantastic group of people and so passionate. And a diverse group - from young to on oxygen. It was great to hear their stories. One lady told me it was Mrs. Thomas who put the whole thing together because she loved doing it in California.

I got the names of Mrs. Moede, Mrs. Sutton Mrs. Carrothers, Mrs. Anthony and the leader Mrs. Thomas. Thank you so much for letting an outsider in your homes. I truly had a great time in your town and your dog group people were adorable.

Boy, buy a plant, buy an apron, but a cookbook, order bulbs. I did buy a magnet to take with me. If I win the lottery your group will be the first. I hope everyone in town donates to your cause constantly. I did hear about your fabulous dinner donated by a Dee and Greg in your behalf. Bow wow.
