Obituary: Kathleen Veillette

Williams lost a faithful citizen, wonderful mother, loved grandmother, sister and good friend on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014 when Kate left this earth to be with Jim.

She is survived by her two daughters, two precious granddaughters, Elizabeth and Beverly, two sisters and TK, who stood by her side as a companion after Jim's death. Kate was not only "pet's best friend," she was mine.

She was always willing to support Williams by volunteering her time and assistance to any and all events to benefit this town and all who lived here.

In her honor her daughters wish to hold a "wash and brush" event at Canyon Pets on Aug. 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All proceeds will go to W.A.A.G and Salvation Army.

A memorial service will take place at Glassburn Park, on Aug. 30 at 3 p.m. To RSVP a spot for Friday or ask any questions please call (928) 635-4000. All friends two and four legged are invited to attend and join in saying farewell to Kate.

Proud to call her my friend, Karen.

Kate will surely be missed by Many.
I met her in 2010 after my Dad died, she was his best friend here in Williams. She took care of all his animals many times throughout the 8 years he lived here. Ulee, Max and Morris the cat ALL LOVED HER. At my Dads funeral in Phoenix Kate showed up dressed in a nice business suit and she handed my brother snips of fur and said " from the Boys, now they can be with him forever". I will never forget that!! From what I know and saw , Kate was ALWAYS thinking of others, putting them first before herself. Always! I can only hope that the people of Williams will Honor and remember her for who she was and what she stood for. People like Kate are few and far between.
God Bless and R.I.P.
My heart and Prayers go out to T.K. and her Girls.
