Robert "Bumpy" Roberds, 67, of Williams, Ariz., passed away on Monday, July 4, 2011 in his home. He was born Jan. 13, 1944 in Phoenix, Ariz.
Bumpy was a former member of the Operating Engineer's Local 428. He cowboyed and mined in Ray/Kearney, Ariz. He was a farrier; and blacksmith.
His favorite pastime was hunting and camping in the beautiful Kaibab National Forest outside of Williams. He also was a former member of the Cholla Bay Sportsman Club and loved deep sea fishing.
Survivors of Bumpy include his children, Nikki Roberds, Dawn Calhoun and Dustin Roberds; and grandchildren, Katie Sennhenn, Alec Calhoun, Dakota Calhoun, and Wyatt Roberds. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Danny (Bowen) Gray.
Services will be held in Bumpy's home, located at 1644 N. F.S. 2060 Rd, Williams, Arizona , at noon on Saturday, July 16, 2011. For more information, please contact Dustin Roberds at (480) 458-8194.
