The Williams Police Department answered the following calls for service -

• Officers tagged a vehicle on First St. with a suspended registration;

• Officers dealt with a parking issue in the alley on Fourth St.;

• Officers responded to a barking dog on Fairview;

• Officers responded to suspicious activity on Third St.;

• Officers responded to a truck turning around in a private business parking lot;

• Officers responded to a suspicious person on Sixth St.;

• Officers investigated a non-injury accident on Route 66;

• Officers took a report of possible child abuse;

• Officers responded to someone drinking alcohol on Route 66 but found soda;

• Officers responded to an alarm on Route 66;

• Officers dealt with two males arguing and wanting to fight on Third St. and Route 66;

• Officers dealt with abandoned cars on private property;

• Officers responded to suspicious people on Fulton;

• Officers responded to a juvenile issue on Seventh St.;



• Officers took in found property on Route 66;

• Officers responded to a disturbance at a local hotel. Officers told two intoxicated men to keep it down and they separated for the night;

• Officers responded to a suspicious person on Grand Canyon Blvd.;

• Officers responded to an assault at First St. and Route 66;

• Officers responded to an intoxicated woman passed out on Route 66. Officers took her home;

• Officers responded to a report of underage drinkers at Third St. and Route 66 but found no underage drinkers;

• Officers took a report of road rage on Route 66;

• Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle on Edison;

• Officers responded to a verbal domestic on Morse;

• Officers found an open door at Denny's;

• Officers responded to a fight at Third St. and Route 6. Officers separated two intoxicated men;

• Officers issued 3 citations and gave out 11 warnings.

Anyone with any information is urged to call the WPD at (928) 635-4461. Anonymous tips can be left at any time at (928) 635-5992. Those who want to report a crime while remaining anonymous, can also call Silent Witness at (928) 774-6111 or (877) 29-CRIME. Silent Witness offers rewards of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
