The Williams Police Department answered the following calls for service -

Officers arrested a male on Route 66 for DUI after he was stopped for weaving across roadway;

• Officers took report of non injury accident on Fifth Street;

• Officers responded to a disturbance on Grant Ave., male arrested for disorderly conduct;

• Officers dealt with a civil matter at a local hotel;

• Officers took a report of noise from vehicles on Edison;

• Officers responded to several dog calls;

• Officers responded to a fight at Denny's. Officers did not find a fight but removed subjects from business;

• Officers responded to suspicious activity on Sheridan Ave.;

• Officers responded to a guest who refused to leave a local hotel;

• Officers took a report of theft on Homestead;

• Officers took a report of an assault that occurred at Third Street and Route 66;

• Officers responded to trespassing on Homestead;

• Officers responded to a 911 hang up on Homestead;

• Officers took a report of a dog bite on Seventh Street;

• Officers took a criminal damage report on Sixth Street;

• Officers responded to a domestic on Homestead, male arrested for assault;

• Officers responded to a juvenile issue on Sixth Street;

• Officers responded to an underage drinker on Sixth Street, a male was arrested for underage drinking and probation violation;

• Officers responded to an alarm on Route 66;

• Officers responded to a fight at Third Street and Route 66, no one would cooperate or prosecute;

• Officers responded to a noise complaint on Fulton Ave;

• Officers responded to found drug paraphernalia at a vacant home on First Street;

• Officers responded to a report of a possible underage drinking party on Ninth Street but did not find a party;

• Officers responded to an overdose on Morse Ave;

• Officers responded to a intoxicated male near Bearizona, found subject with mental health issues;

• Officers dealt with a transient several times on Route 66; and

• Officers took a report of a theft on Quarterhorse Road.

• Officers issued 6 citations and gave out 12 warnings.

Anyone with any information is urged to call the WPD at (928) 635-4461. Anonymous tips can be left at any time at (928) 635-5992. Those that want to report a crime while remaining anonymous, can also call Silent Witness at (928) 774-6111 or (877) 29-CRIME. Silent Witness offers rewards of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
