The Williams Police Department (WPD) answered the following calls for service (among others) -

• Officers responded to a transient disturbance on Grand Canyon Blvd;

• Officers responded to a suspicious person on Tabor Ave. and Railroad Ave.;

• Officers responded to a suspicious person on Meade Ave.;

• Officers arrested a woman for graffiti crimes committed in the city;

• Officers took in found abandoned property at the post office;

• Officers took a report of criminal trespass and criminal damage to a trailer on Boyd Ave.;

• Officers took a burglary report on 10th St.;

• Officers responded to an alarm on Route 66;

• Officers responded to a neighbor disturbance and issued a verbal warning on Grant Ave.;

• Officers responded to a suspicious light at the airport, nothing was found;

• Officers removed a camper in the city;

• Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle on Cedar Ave.;

• Officers took a theft report on Fifth St.;

• Officers responded to theft of services at a local restaurant, there was a misunderstanding by a tourist;

• Officers dealt with a juvenile issue on Seventh St.;

• Officers responded to a transient at the airport;

• Officers recovered three guns stolen in a burglary;

• Officers dealt with a child custody issue on Route 66;

• Officers responded to a disturbance and gave a verbal warning on Quarter Horse Road;

• Officers arrested a man for driving with a suspended license on Franklin Ave.;

• A man was arrested for disorderly conduct at a local hotel;

• Officers dealt with a drunk man on Edison Ave.; • Officers responded to an alarm on Seventh St.;

• Officers investigated an injury accident on Edison Ave. and Grand Canyon Blvd.;

• Officers arrested a woman for driving under the influece after she ran a stop sign on Second St. and Railroad Ave.;

• Officers responded to a disturbance on Third St. and Route 66;

• Officers responded to and took home a drunk man causing problems with a taxi company;

• Officers assisted Coconino County Sheriff's Office with locating burglary suspects;

• Officers arrested a man for several burglaries on Railroad Ave.;

• Officers responded to a man pointing a paint ball gun at cars on Grant Ave.; and

• Officers issued seven citations and gave out 15 warnings.

Anyone with any information is urged to call the WPD at (928) 635-4461. Anonymous tips can be left at any time at (928) 635-5992. Those who want to report a crime while remaining anonymous can also call Silent Witness at (928) 774-6111 or (877) 29-CRIME. Silent Witness offers rewards of as much as $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
