The Williams Police Department (WPD) answered the following calls for service -

• Officers responded to a disturbance on Sheepman Road and gave a verbal warning only.

• Officers responded to criminal damage and burglary on First St., the suspect fled the area.

• Officers and Animal Control Officers responded to dog calls in the city.

• Officers responded to a disturbance on Route 66 and gave a verbal warning only.

• Officers took a report of a violation of a court order on Edison Ave.

• Officers arrested a male for two warrants on Route 66.

• Officers took a report of criminal damage to port a potties at Buckskinner Park.

• Officers took a report of a private property accident at Bearizona.

• Officers responded to an alarm on Pine Meadow Drive.

• Officers dealt with a transient on Route 66.

• Officers looked for an assault suspect at a local hotel.

• Officers responded to a suspicious person on Forest Service road 140.

• Officers responded to a suspicious person on Grant Ave.

• Officers arrested a female for two warrants on Route 66.

• Officers responded to domestic violence on Edison Ave., the suspect fled the area.

• Officers responded to a suicidal subject with a gun on Route 66, the subject left the area and officers found the subject and transported them to Flagstaff Medical Center.

• Officers responded to a domestic assault on Locust St., the suspect fled the area.

• Officers dealt with subjects camping on the stage in the Visitor Center parking lot.

• Officers returned found property on Route 66.

• Officers dealt with a civil matter at a local hotel.

• Officers took a criminal damage report on Ninth St.

• Officers responded to parking issues on Grant Ave.

• Officers conducted a welfare check on Edison Ave.

• Officers responded to a man making threats with a metal pipe on Sheridan Ave. The officers arrested the male for aggravated assault.

• Officers responded to a civil matter on Fulton Ave.

• Officers conducted a search for a felon suspect in areas of the city.

• Officers issued 3 citations and gave out 15 warnings.

Anyone with any information is urged to call the WPD at (928) 635-4461. Anonymous tips can be left at any time at (928) 635-5992. Those who want to report a crime while remaining anonymous, can also call Silent Witness at (928) 774-6111 or (877) 29-CRIME. Silent Witness offers rewards of as much as $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
