The Williams Police Department (WPD) answered the following calls for service -

• Officers responded to suspicious activity on Homestead;

• Officers responded to open doors on Mountain Man Trail;

• Officers assisted Lifeline at a local hotel;

• Officers conducted a welfare check on Third Street;

• Officers investigated a non-injury accident on Fifth Street and Grant Avenue;

• Officers responded to two intoxicated people arguing on Grant Avenue and told them to go inside and quiet down;

• Officers arrested a female for felony theft from a local business;

• Officers responded to neighbor problems on Quarter Horse Road;

• Officers dealt with a civil issue on Route 66 and First Street;

• Officers responded to suspicious people at the rodeo grounds;

• Officers assisted with several narcotics search warrants served in the community;

• Officers took a threats report on Seventh Street;

• Officers took a report of lost property on Route 66;

• Officers responded to a possible drunk driver on Route 66 but found that the driver was not drunk;

• Officers dealt with child custody issue on Sherman Avenue;

• Officers dealt with several campers in city;

• Officers responded to verbal dispute at Circle K;

• Officers took report of an assault that occurred on Sixth Street;

• Officers responded to an alarm on Route 66;

• Officers conducted a welfare check on First Street;

• Officers took in found property at Cureton Park;

• Officers responded to verbal disturbance on Grant Avenue. The house was found in disarray so CPS was advised;

• Officers responded to disturbance at Safeway, subject was removed and taken to mental health facility;

• Officers conducted welfare check on Oak Avenue;

• Officers responded to disturbance on First Street, two males were arrested for domestic violence assault and disorderly conduct;

• Officers dealt with a juvenile out past curfew on Railroad Avenue. The juvenile was taken home;

• Officers investigated non injury accident on Route 66;

• Officers conducted civil stand by on Homestead;

• Officers responded to several dog calls in the city;

• Officers responded to a suspicious car at a local hotel;

• Officers responded to an unhappy customer at a local restaurant;

• Officers arrested a male for a warrant on Third Street;

• Officers dealt with a custody issue on Route 66;

• Officers responded to a disturbance on Route 66, verbal only parties separated;

• Officers responded to an alarm on Pinehurst and;

• Officers arrested a female for driving with a suspended license on Grand Canyon Blvd.

• Officers issued 5 citations and gave out 14 warnings.

Anyone with any information is urged to call the WPD at (928) 635-4461. Anonymous tips can be left at any time at (928) 635-5992. Those who want to report a crime while remaining anonymous, can also call Silent Witness at (928) 774-6111 or (877) 29-CRIME. Silent Witness offers rewards of as much as $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
