The Williams Police Department answered the following calls for service -

• Officers conducted a civil stand by on Route 66 at a local business;

• Officers responded to a weather related alarm on Lakeview Drive;

• Officers took a report of a private property accident on Humboldt Ave.;

• Officers took a threats report on Homestead Road;

• Officers dealt with wind and snow issues;

• Officers responded to a down power line on Edison Ave.;

• Officers responded to a structure fire at KOA but the fire turned out to be burning of debris;

• Officers took a report of a stolen car on Route 66;

• Officers responded to a prowler on Sheridan Ave.:

• Officers performed a welfare check on Grand Canyon Blvd.;

• Officers responded to an open door on Sixth St.;

• Officers assisted the Coconino County Sheriff's Office with a narcotics related traffic stop;

• Officers arrested a man for DUI on Grand Canyon Blvd. and Edison Ave.;

• Officers responded to a suspicious person on Sheridan Ave.;

• Officers responded to a suspicious person on Homestead Road;

• Officers responded to a juvenile issue on Seventh St.;

• An officer taught a law enforcement class at Williams Elementary-Middle School;

• Officers responded to a neighborhood dispute over parking on Franklin Ave.;

• Officers dealt with juvenile problems on Railroad Ave.;

• Officers took a theft report on Grand Canyon Blvd.;

• Officers found a child missing from school;

• Officers arrested a man for a warrant on Edison Ave.;

• Officers responded to a dispute between neighbors on Route 66;

• Officers responded to domestic violence on Grant Ave. and arrested a woman on assault charges;

• Officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Route 66 and arrested a man for assault and criminal damage;

• Officers took a report of lost property on Grand Canyon Blvd.;

• Officers took in found property at Circle K;

• Officers responded to several dog calls;

• Officers assisted Lifeline at several locations;

• Officers helped Yavapai County find a crash suspect;

• Officers responded to an alarm on Seventh St.;

• Officers responded to a disturbance on Ninth St. and removed a transient person;

• Officers assisted with a funeral escort;

• Officers responded to a fight on First St. and Route 66, but nobody was there when they arrived;

• Officers responded to intoxicated subjects on Sherman Ave. but nobody was there when they arrived;

• Officers responded to loud music on Homestead Ave. The homeowner turned down the music;

• Officers took a report of lost property on Ninth St.; and

• Officers issued 4 citations and gave out 16 warnings.

Anyone with any information is urged to call the WPD at (928) 635-4461. Anonymous tips can be left at any time at (928) 635-5992. Those who want to report a crime while remaining anonymous, can also call Silent Witness at (928) 774-6111 or (877) 29-CRIME. Silent Witness offers rewards of as much as $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
