Family Caregivers start by taking on small daily tasks for their loved ones then slowly the care needs increase and caregivers find themselves juggling work, family, and full-time personal care. You are not alone and are part of a network of family caregivers throughout the United States that are currently providing unpaid care that is estimated at $450 billion dollars annually. NACOG Area Agency on Aging's Family Caregiver Support Program (FCSP) can provide some education, support and access to resources to help family caregivers succeed. Join us at the FREE Williams Caregiver Series for 5 weeks starting, each Wednesday, September 5 to October 3 from 1:30pm - 3:30pm at the Williams Senior Center. The Williams Caregiver Series will offer practical information about Aging and Mental Health, Health & Nutrition for Caregivers, Financial Health for Caregivers, Decision Making for Caregivers and Care Receivers and Resources for End-of-Life Care. This series will offer guest speakers from local agencies and professionals you can reach out to. For more information, please call Lita Nelson at 928-213-5255 or email for further assistance. Registration is not required but it does give the FCSP an idea of how many session materials to provide for attendees. NACOG Area Agency on Aging provides answers on aging through resources, services and advocacy.
